For the past thirty-one, yes, 31 years, we have kept a guest book in the entry way for folks to sign. We have everything from a guest who kissed the book with bright red lipstick because she loved the B&B to a thirteen year old who said that when he grew up, he would bring his girlfriend to Baker's to a few stars like Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman (1980's), Adin and Elizabeth Quinn (1990's) and Sara Moulton and her family (2006). Our guest book is an entry way full of fond memories. We discovered that David and Julie have been coming since 1979, Bob and Judy since 1987 and Neal and Debbie since 1984. So, we decided to share some of the more recent comments with you. We have also gotten so many thank you notes, great wine gifts and Sid and Janet bring me pastries from NYC each time they come and Elaine and Bill bring us smoked pork and kielbasa from Brooklyn!! These are the reasons we have stayed in this business for so long - we have met the very best people!!!!

Last year we closed the B&B for the New Year's Eve weekend or the first time in 28 years and attended the wedding of former guests and new neighbors in Central Park. It was a magical weekend! This couple has become our neighbor and our friend as have many other former guests!

And so a new decade and our 31st year began at Baker's…. 2010!!  we hope you will join us in celebrating the beauty of our surroundings at Bakers!
